It Made Me Think.

You may know that I rarely go back and read my posts on my blog, but every once in a while, I'll notice that a post is getting more attention than another because of my statistics/tracker, and I'll go see what I was writing about that people hit that specific post more than another. Well, the last post I reread was this one. It really made me think. It made me think that maybe I'm not such a bad writer. It made me think, I am making a difference in this world. It made me think, I am always going to look out for the well-being of children and teenagers in some way. It made me think, it's not necessarily a bad thing to get older and more mature. It made me think, my parents are the greatest thing in my life. It made me think, I need to be more reflective. It made me think, my friends are missing out on the internet and its wonderful way of supporting personal expression. It made me think, as much time as I spend on a computer, I can still make an entire room full of people laugh with my comic timing. It made me think, so many things are true and possible, including all of what I wrote above. It made me think...

The Mirror Project.

Mirrors.
There's something about mirrors that are intriguing. They can totally distort the way you see something, and/or they can totally reveal new things to you.
I was looking at The Mirror Project and decided to take a few pictures of myself in reflective objects.

While the results are really good, it is making me think about how important it is to reflect on things: things you've done, where you are, where you're going, things you plan to do...
It makes me realize I should reflect more often.
I shouldn't be reflecting only once or twice a year around the Jewish high holy days.

And I was thinking how nice it would be if these updates could be a mirror of my blog.
But now that I've written this post, it differs from the corresponding post at that site with the same headline.

I'm reflecting and reevaluating all across the board...we'll see what comes of it all.

TIG Boston, man!

Yesterday I spent over 12 hours in Harvard Square. I met up with Jennifer, Dumi, Emily, John, and Zara-Marie. (Later on I met Terah and Leon.)

It was nice to have some intellectual stimulation where everyone respected everyone else's time to speak and their opinions. I can't possibly explain here how incredible each and every one of them is. It's great to know there are people doing great things each and every day.

Some of us will be meeting again for sure. We have different initiatives, know different people, and can definitely further each other's projects while working on our own. I'm psyched!
